10 BEST PLACES TO CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE
1. Innsbruck – Innsbruck is a real fairy tale, and during the New Year the city center shines with thousands of lights and numerous concerts, and at midnight there is a 15-minute firework show under the sound of a Viennese waltz. For me personally, this is the best place I’ve been so far on New Year’s Eve.
2. Istanbul – it is wonderful to start the new year stepping on two continents. There are many places in the city where you can celebrate the holiday, but probably the best remains or at least for me on a yacht in the Bosphorus.
3. Dubai – melting temperatures and parties, countless sights and an amazing light and music show, Dubai is undoubtedly a wonderful destination during the winter months and beyond.
4. Bangkok is undoubtedly one of the most glamorous capitals all year round, with the new year being even more lavish with lots of lights and fireworks. Especially romantic is the celebration on a boat trip in the river Chao Phraya.
5. Cyprus – only 2 hours by plane from Sofia, the island will surprise you with pleasant spring temperatures and beach New Year parties. The most glamorous New Year’s celebrations are at the ancient port in Kyrenia.
6. Vienna – glamorous balls, open-air concerts with famous performers, DJs and street performances that entertain everyone until midnight and beyond. Vienna is a wonderful place to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
7. Salzburg – traditionally, the celebration begins with a gala evening in the fortress of Hohensalzburg, continues with sparkling champagne on the panoramic terrace, then going down the city center with the funicular, which works late this evening. There are lots of concerts and at midnight there are spectacular fireworks over the fortress, which are beautifully visible from the promenade of the Zalzach River.
8. London – New Year’s fireworks in London are world famous, you just have to decide where you want to watch them – from the glamorous Tower Bridge, at the Big Ben Clock Tower or at many other party places that turn the English capital into the cream of New Year’s parties.
9. Paris – the French capital offers numerous attractions on New Year’s Eve, such as a cabaret show, a cruise on the Seine, fireworks over the Eiffel Tower and so much more, as everyone knows Paris remains known as the city of love and the culinary capital of the world.
10. Venice – New Year’s Eve is noisy and festive in the fabulous Italian city of Venice. St. Mark’s Square shines with thousands of lights, and the fireworks over the Grand Canal are something unforgettable.
