THE TOP 10 BEST AMUSEMENT PARKS IN EUROPE
Amusement parks are an excellent place for a family vacation, and here are some of the best in Europe that we recommend you visit:
History
It turns out that amusement parks originated in the Middle Ages in Europe, being a combination of a fair, a carnival and a theme park. One of the first amusement parks was the Bartholomew Fair in London, but in 1855 it was closed because it caused public disorder. The oldest amusement park in the world is considered to be the Bakken (The Hill), which opened its doors in 1583 north of Copenhagen in Klampenborg, Denmark. In 1860-1870, the first carousels with galloping horses appeared, which excite young and old, to this day.
